The Football Association

November 5, 1863
Mr. Editor: Will you permit me to state that nearly 20 twenty clubs enrolled themselves as members of the Football Association, and to be that other clubs will do the same at or before the next meeting (on the 10th inst.), notice of which will be found in your columns. It is the desire of the association that the views of all players should be thoroughly considered before proceeding to settle rules. – Yours, &c., G.C.M., Hon Sec.
