On Wednesday the annual meeting and dinner of the Burnley Football Club, which is now incorporated with the cricket club, took place at the Bull Hotel. About 60 sat down, and the after proceedings were presided over by Captain Joblings.
The balance-sheet, which was read, shows an improvement as regards finances, and the future of the club was spoken of in hopeful tones.
