The English agents have been among us again this and last week, and McColl and Andrew Hannah of Renton, John Auld of the Third Lanark, and McPherson of Cowlairs have all been asked to go to “pastures new;” but it is pleasing to state they have remained staunch to their clubs, and the Englishman has returned without any player of note.
However, on his way home he “baited” two players of the Queen of the South.
