** Liverpool F.C.
have signed another player, Hugh Clifford (ex Stoke). Liverpool paid £25 down, before they were told that Clifford was disqualified for playing in England after playing in both Scotland and England the previous season.
** John Houlding has told the general meeting that it is First Division (of Football League) and nothing else that matters for next season.
