The Celtic Football Club has the honour of holding three trophies which they have competed for – the Glasgow charity, the Glasgow, and the Scottish cups. This is the first time any Scotch club has won the here cups in one season. The Blackburn Rovers once looked forward to winning three cups in one season – the East Lancashire charity, the Lancashire, and the English. They caused great disappointment by failing to secure the charity trophy.
