News from Burnley Football Club

July 2, 1892
That it has been stated that Alex McLardie, who played on the left wing for Burnley last season, has decided to remain in Scotland.

That the Burnley committee, however, have not heard anything to this effect, and they have no reason for thinking that the report is true.

That one of the committee has been in Scotland lately, but it has not yet leaked out with what success.

That it may be depended upon the team will be about as good as it has ever been.

That the prize draw in connection with the Football Club is, from all appearances, going to be as successful as last year, when upwards of £100 was made out of it.
