James Sharp preferred the ‘Baw bees’

James Sharp, of Vale of Leven, late of North End, has been nibbled at by the new Liverpool Football Club, who asked for the Preston North End’s permission to approach him, but they eventually wrote to Preston that they could not come to terms with him, which means Sharp had the usual eye on the ‘Baw bees.’
