A meeting of the Executive of the Lancashire League was held at Bolton yesterday evening, Mr. Smith (Southport) presiding. Permission was given to Bury and Higher Walton to alter the date of the league match from October 7 to September 17, in consequence of Higher Walton requiring the former date for the Lancashire Cup-tie. The time for commencing league matches for October was fixed at 3:15 and for November at 2:45.
There was no other business of importance.
