A meeting of the Lancashire League was held at Preston yesterday evening. Alderman Bickerstaffe presiding. The Higher Walton club were strongly censured for their late arrival at Bury on September 17.
West Manchester and Liverpool were given permission to reverse grounds for their matches on October 1 and January 14.
Complaints having been made about clubs making ordinary matches with clubs before fulfilling their Lancashire League engagements in the same district, it was decided to adopt the rule of the Football League on the matter.
