Narrow win at South Shore

At Blackpool. Liverpool in the first half played against a slight wind, and scored after five minutes’ play by a good shot from Tommy Wyllie. This was the only point secured in the first half.

On resuming, the game was very even. The Liverpool forwards, however, gave the home defence plenty of work before the game finished, but notwithstanding this no further score was made.
