Ardwick and their players

January 31, 1893
The Ardwick Club are having troubles with their players, and it has been evident for some time that some of them have not kept in condition.
The result is that two Welshmen – Joe Davies and Hugh Morris – have each been suspended for a month for disobeying training instructions and general misconduct.

David Weir is at loggerheads with the club, and a substitute has been secured in Wilmot Turner, late of Stoke.
