Another drawn game for Liverpool


April 17, 1893
At Southport. Some delay was caused by the non-arrival of the referee, but eventually it was agreed by both parties for a local man to officiate.

At the end of the first portion of the game honours were even. The second half was hotly contested, Southport holding more than their own.

The game ended in a draw of 1 goal each.
