Everton’s protest thrown out


April 24, 1893
Everton v Liverpool – protested cup tie.
The Liverpool and District Association met last evening at the Neptune Hotel to discuss the above matter, and after lengthy debate decided that the protest be not sustained, so Liverpool have the proud honour of being cup-holders for the next season.
