Potatoes, orranges and bananas

Many people are complaining of the noxious smells which come from the carts from which, in the evenings, potatoes are dispensed, and it is asked whether the health authorities have power to interfere and prevent the nuisance. Another annoyance is the strewing in the Castle Street neighbourhood of the skins of bananas, which are nearly as dangerous as those of oranges.
