It is stated that Mr. Gerard Dewhurst, of Oughtrington Hall, near Lymm, has signed a League form as an amateur, and will play for Liverpool in their test match. Mr. Dewhurst has this season been playing centre forward for the Liverpool Ramblers and Corinthians Football Clubs, and was a member of the Cambridge University eleven in their matches against Oxford for the last four years.

The club officials have also secured the services of a new player, John Givens, from Kilmarnock. He is an inside right, and will assist Liverpool next Saturday against Preston North End.
