At Anfield the new stand gives the ground a much improved and complete appearance, and I have no doubt the extra accommodation will be required and appreciated. It will hold over 3,000 persons, and besides being well elevated, has a curve at each end, which will enable the occupants to see the whole of the play.
The turf at Anfield leaves nothing to be desired, and the players will find a much-needed improvement effected in the widening of the ground, which gives several yards’ “grace” on either touch line.
