Liverpool want League extension

The annual meeting of the League clubs will be held at Manchester next Monday. There are some proposals to come before the League in the way of proposing alterations of rules. Liverpool will propose that the League be extended to 20 clubs in each division, and that separate committees be appointed to manage the affairs of each division.

The Management Committee suggest an alteration of the rule making neutral linesmen obligatory in First Division matches.
