The arrangement for the theatrical gala which this season is to be held at on the ground of the Liverpool Football Club, are flourishing apace. The numerous sub-committees recently elected have already the work well in hand, and the project promises to be quite as successful, if not more so, than those of previous years. The public generally are but little versed in the labour which is entailed in connection with so large an undertaking. It is hoped that those gentlemen who have as their aim the raising of funds to provide some solatium for the distressed will receive the liberal support their efforts deserve.
