A commission of the Football League sat at Nottingham yesterday to consider the terms of the transfer of Jack Taggart from West Bromwich Albion to Walsall. The Albion placed Taggart on the list at £80, but were willing to accept £40 in cash. Walsall offered an equivalent of £30. It was decided that Walsall pay £25 at once, and play a match with £15 guarantee . This is the first case under the transfer rule referred to the League.
