* Two of the Liverpool directors have been religiously busy this week in promoting the deserving welfare of the homes for destitute boys. Mr. B is not a big-headed fellow.
* Mr. Ben Bailey has held fast to the Liverpool flag from the very first, and now, along with others, he can proudly see that those painstaking and untiring efforts have not gone unrewarded. He, at present, sinks his own personal wish, by looking after the Reserve – a team that the most cynical dare not hardly criticise. Perpend: – Played 11 matches, won 11, goals for 33, against 13.
