England v Ireland: Harry Bradshaw to play

The Press Association is officially informed that Charles Athersmith, of Aston Villa, will take the place of Billy Bassett, as outside right of the English team in this match at Nottingham on Saturday next.

The announcement of Steve Smith, of Aston Villa, would appear on the left wing with Fred Wheldon is not correct. In all probability Harry Bradshaw, of Liverpool, the original choice as outside left, will duly appear in that position.
