The Cits have decided to discard the familiar red and white striped jerseys, and when next season commences they will be found arrayed in shirt of Lincoln green. The change is one which has often been suggested, but it was considered the colour was not sufficiently distinctive from the grass, and the suggested alteration has therefore not been acted upon. The present directors, however, think otherwise, and, as they wish to turn over a new leaf entirely, and as Mr. George Bainbridge, J.P., has promised to give the shirts, his offer has been accepted.
