Probable visit of Prince Ranjitsinhji
Mr. William Clayton, the chairman of the Everton Club, was yesterday in Brighton for the purpose of endeavouring to get Prince Ranjitsinhji to open the new stand, on the occasion of the Bolton Wanderers match next Saturday.

The prince, who is suffering from asthma, would not decide until he saw his medical adviser, and the doctor refused him permission, but Ranjitsinhji is so anxious to go that he promised, if better, to make the journey. In the event of his not doing so Dr Morley will perform the ceremony.
