Robert Neill’s knee breaks down

September 7, 1897
Robert Neill, the Rangers’ new centre-half back, was injured at Edinburgh when playing against the St. Bernards on Saturday. At first the injury was thought to be slight, but on further examination the knee was found to be twisted.

Neill left for Manchester last night to undergo special treatment in Matlock Hydropathic.
