The Sunderland Association League Club has received notice to quit their famous ground in the Newcastle-road, Sunderland.
The notice is for six months, and will expire on the 1st May next. The ground is practically in the heart of the town, and has been in the occupation of the club for over twelve years.
This will be a serious matter for the club.
The ground is to be sold, probably for building purposes.
