* Nottingham Forest, in allowing Tom McInnes a League match for his benefit, has set an example which ought to be followed by the whole of the English League.
* Jack Bell, of Everton, will finally retire at the end of the season. He himself hath said it.
* Joe McQue has been in Liverpool since the club was founded.
* Andy McCowie, of Liverpool, is said to have been spotted by the Celtic.
* Mr. John Lewis, of Blackburn, the Lord Mayor of Liverpool (John Houlding), and Mr. J. Ord, of Preston, have consented to act as trustees of the Players’ Union.
