The Management Committee of the above met yesterday at the Old Boar’s Head Hotel, Manchester, Mr. John James Bentley presiding. Woolwich Arsenal were fined £5 for not paying the amount agreed upon with Liverpool for the transfer of Davie Hannah, and an additional £1 per day after Monday next if not paid.
It was decided to approve and confirm the rules and bye-laws of the International Football League Board decided upon at Carlisle on January 21st.
Luton were ordered to pay Derby County £10 at once for the transfer of Docherty, the amount fixed on the transfer list.
It was unanimously decided that Sheffield United be the League team to oppose the amateur team in London for the Sheriff of London Cup, on March 10th.
The appointment of referees for March concluded the business.
