This match, to-morrow, should prove most attractive, inasmuch as, should the Anfielders win, they will go above Aston Villa in the League table, and, what is more, still further enhance their chances of the championship. Derby, as everyone knows, are in the final of the English Cup, and are due to meet the conquerors of Liverpool at the Crystal Palace on Saturday next, so that the match should prove one of the tit-bits of the season.
Both teams will be a man short, Steve Bloomer playing for England, and Hugh Morgan for Scotland. Otherwise the teams will be at full strength.
Kick-off at four o’clock. Referee, Mr. J. Brodie.
Liverpool: Goal, Bill Perkins; backs, General Stevenson and Billy Dunlop; halves, Charlie Wilson, Alex Raisbeck, and William Goldie; right wing, John Cox and John Walker; centre, George Allan; left wing, Tom Robertson and Andy McCowie. The half-time and full-time results of the international will be made known the ground.
