Liverpool Reserves for the Lancashire Combination

The most important business at the meeting of the Lancashire Combination, held at Blackburn last evening, was the selection of clubs to fill the vacancies. Among the applicants were Trawden Forest. It was resolved to increase the number of clubs to eighteen, and the result of the voting was that Everton Reserve, Liverpool Reserves, Glossop North End Reserve, St Helen’s Recreation, Leyland, Park Road, and Astley Bridge Wanderers were elected, and in the event of another vacancy arising, Rossendale United and Trawden Forest, in the order mentioned, will be selected.
