The secretary of the Football Association, Mr. Frederick Wall, has written the Darwen Club, pointing out that the old Darwen Club is now defunct, and asking whether the new club wishes to take up the charge made against Burnley of approaching Dewhurst, their centre forward, during the playing season. A reply has been forwarded that, under the circumstances, Darwen will let the matter drop.
