Liverpool have put in a week’s hard training at Fairhaven. St. Annes-by-the-Sea evidently did not agree with their digestion, hence the change.
May it prove effective.
Whilst on the subject of Liverpool I might mention that a friend of mine informs me that one of Liverpool’s most prominent players was seen in a hopeless state of intoxication on Saturday night last.
Dear me! That 8-0-8-0 business again!
He was evidently trying to forget it.
Under ordinary conditions I might have served it up hot for the forward in question, but I haven’t the heart to do it at present.
