At Gainsborough, before a fair attendance. In the first portion the home team were the first to press. After 25 minutes Wilson made a fine run, and Scott scored for the visitors. The game continued well contested. The second portion of the game opened even. After ten minutes’ play Hunter scored for the visitors from a scrimmage in the home goal mouth.
