The new men secured by the Liverpool Football Club are Tom J. Robertson, of Stoke, one of the best backs in England; John Glover, another back, who two seasons ago played for Blackburn Rovers, and last season turned out for New Brompton.
A new half back has also been engaged in Maurice Parry, of Oswestry.
Two fresh forwards have been signed in Andy McGuigan, of the Edinburgh Hibernian, who was much sought after by other League clubs, and William Otty, a Liverpool lad, who played for Gravesend last season.
