The Airdrieonians have secured the transfer of Robert McLaren, who last year assisted Liverpool. This player was a splendid junior, and took the eye of Mr. Tom Watson, of Liverpool, who promptly signed him on, much to the regret of the Rangers, for whom he had played a practice game. He seems not to have turned out the success expected, but doubtless he will strengthen the Airdrionians’ ranks.
