Narrow defeat for Liverpool Reserves at Bury

At Bury. Bury kicked off against the wind, even play followed, and through John Glover handling James Lamberton scored from a penalty kick. Both sides showed smart football, the custodians doing grand work.

In the second half splendid football was shown by both teams, Bury being slightly better. Several grand shots were stopped by Harry Storer and Archie Montgomery. Liverpool made desperate efforts, but suffered their first defeat by 1 goal til nil
