Liverpool Reserves v Stockport County Reserves.
At Anfield Road. The home team scored through John Davies two minutes from the start. The the County made a persistent attack on Harry Storer’s charge without result. Liverpool pressed, John “Sailor” Hunter adding a second goal, and William Otty a third.
Half-time – Liverpool, 3 goals; County, nil.
Resuming the home team pressed strongly, Davies augmenting the score, and Charles Satterthwaite also put the ball beyond Butler’s reach.
Result – Liverpool Reserve, 5 goals; Stockport County Reserve, nil.
