For the first of the English internationals to be played at Wrexham Racecourse on Monday next, March 3rd, the following were selected after the North v South match at the Crystal Palace yesterday to represent England: –
Billy George (Aston Villa), goal; Bob Crompton (Blackburn Rovers) and Jimmy Crabtree (Aston Villa), backs; Albert Wilkes (Aston Villa), Frank Forman (Notts Forest), and Ernest Needham (Sheffield United), half backs; Billy Hogg (Sunderland), Steve Bloomer (Derby County), Charles Sagar (Bury), Reg Erskine Foster (Corinthians), and Bert Lipsham (Sheffield United), forwards.
