George Bowen injured again

September 20, 1902
George Bowen, the ex-Wolverhampton Wanderer, who was secured by Liverpool twelve months ago at a big figure, and broke down so badly in his second match that he was unable to further assist the Reds last season, again broke down at Blackburn when tried the other day, and on Wednesday last returned to Wolverhampton with football-playing out of the question. He has cost Liverpool £430 one way and another, and played 100 minutes in League football.
