It is said that the suggestion made by Mr. William McGregor that the Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Small Heath, and Wolverhampton Wanderers football clubs should lay down a golf course for their players, has appealed to the executive of the Liverpool Club, who have decided to include golf in the training of their representatives for the next weeks. Golf matches for exercise, and sprint handicaps for pace ought to form a congenial method of training.
