Three of the Manchester City players – Sam Frost, George Livingston, and Johnny McMahon – were each fined 5s. and costs at the City Police Court, this morning, for behaving in a disorderly manner in Oxford Road last night.
A police constable said he saw the defendants shouting and jostling passers-by. Frost said they were “only having a bit of fun.” Mr. W.J. Crossley, chairman of the Bench: “Yes, at the expense of the public.”
