Followers of the Anfield club will be pleased to learn that Sam Raybould signed on for his old club on Tuesday evening. It will be remembered that Raybould, William Goldie, and John Glover were suspended until December 31 by the Football Association, who afterwards gave Liverpool permission to approach the players during December.
The Anfielders have made good use of the advantage, and Raybould’s decision to stick to his old club is greatly appreciated in Liverpool. He will be unable to assist the team until January.
Several League clubs were willing to pay almost any price for his services. Liverpool have accomplished a capital stroke of business in retaining him.
