Our Glasgow correspondent telegraphs:
– I have it on the best authority that Mr. Frank Heaven, the new manager of the Third Lanark, has all but fixed up with William Goldie and John Glover, the two Liverpool players who, along with Sam Raybould, were suspended by the English Association until the beginning of January.
Mr. Heaven and Glover are great friends, both hailing from West Bromwich, hence the likelihood of the “captures.” Two such players as Glover and Goldie would make Third Lanark one of the strongest elevens in the Kingdom.
