Glover, the Liverpool back, who was suspended with Raybould and Goldie for signing for Portsmouth (article says Plymouth which is wrong) without giving satisfactory reason, had the license of a public house in New-street, West Bromwich, transferred to him a few weeks ago.
At the beginning of the New Year he offered his services to the Albion, Liverpool asking £200 for his transfer. The Albion had to refuse unless he would promise to give up his public house, as they have a clause in their rules which does not permit players to keep public houses.
He has since offered his services to Small Heath, and as he is a capable back it is probable Small Heath will sign him up.
