The Small Heath club yesterday received a letter from Mr. Wall stating that their acting captain, Wigmore, had been suspended for 14 days for misconduct in the replayed cup tie between Manchester United and Small Heath at Coventry-road.
This is a comparatively light sentence. The ban is to take effect from the 12th of this month, so that Wigmore will turn out against Newcastle and again on Monday in the cup tie.
