Mr. Tom Watson, the secretary for the Liverpool Club, visited Sunderland and signed on two of the Wearside forwards, Robert Robinson and Joe Hewitt. Robinson is a local lad, and this was his second season with Sunderland. Lately he has figured at right half and among the forwards in the A-team. Hewitt belongs to Chester, and was his third Sunderland season.
