Although so disastrous from a playing point of view, Liverpool – as last season – have been supported in right royal fashion. Never has there been less than a five figure attendance at Anfield, the estimated aggregate at League matches panning out to close upon 300,000.
Next season the gates are almost certain to suffer, but a winning team only is required to draw capital attendances.
