The English Association has refused to register John Cox, Liverpool’s International left winger, who signed for Fulham last week, pending inquiries as to his reason for leaving the Merseyside club. He was offered the limit wage and the privilege of residing at home in Blackpool,
Liverpool also offering to pay his railway season ticket. But he refused those terms, preferring to go to London, and giving as his reason that he objected to play in the Second Division of the League.
