Herbert Craik, ex-Forfar, Greenock Morton, and Liverpool half back, has been transferred to the Hearts. Craik was secured by Liverpool from Morton a year ago, at a cost of £275.
It was intended to play him in the place vacated by Willie Goldie, but an accident to his ankle sustained in a practice match before the season opened cost him his place in the League team.
The reserve man, John Hughes, played so well that he could not be kept out. With average luck Craik should prove a fine player for the Tynecastle Club.
