To-morrow night, starting at six o’clock, the following teams will contest: –
Reds: Ned Doig, David Murray, Billy Dunlop, Maurice Parry, Alex Raisbeck, John Hughes, Arthur Goddard, Robert Robinson, Jack Parkinson, Joe Hewitt, John Cox.
Stripes: Peter Platt, Charlie Wilson, John McAdam, Tom Chorlton, George Latham, George Fleming, Ellis Dudley, Herbert Pratt, John Carlin, Richard Morris, Charles Evans.
These are the probables League team versus the Combination side. Sam Raybould’s heel will not allow him to play yet, but he is certain to be fit for the first match. Alf West, it appears, still progresses slowly.
The cost of admission to the ground is one penny, with transfers to stand an additional penny and twopence. A big crowd is anticipated.
