Starting XI not ready for Chesterfield clash

January 7, 1905
The team to do duty for Liverpool (against Chesterfield) is doubtful, as Richard Morris is ill, and Jack Parkinson has not recovered from his accident at Glossop. Sam Raybould will be the pivot of the forward line, and, should Morris not play, George Fleming will perhaps appear in his place, and Charlie Wilson at half back.
